Matches
The tour includes all three Test series with options to add the Jamaica T20 Internationals:- 1st Test: Wednesday 25-Sunday 29 June, Barbados
- 2nd Test: Thursday 3-Monday 7 July, Grenada
- 3rd Test: Saturday 12-Wednesday 16 July, Jamaica
Tour Hosts
We are delighted to announce that our Caribbean Test tour will be hosted by Australian legends Merv Hughes and Geoff Marsh. Merv and Geoff both featured in the Australian tour of the Windies in 1991 where the Aussies dominated the ODI series 4-1 before going down 2-1 in the Tests. That tour was known for the prickly relations between the teams so no doubt the boys will have a tale to share over a rum or two at the end of each day’s play!
Australia in the West Indies
In 2015 Australia took out the two-match series 2-0 on the back of runs from Adam Voges, Steve Smith and Sean Marsh and wickets from Josh Hazlewood and Mitch Starc to continue their possession of the Frank Worrell Trophy. More recently the new-look West Indies team shook things up on the final day in Brisbane when Shamar Joseph took 7/68 to give the tourists an unlikely win by 8 runs. The Caribbean Islands
A cricket tour of the West Indies is as good as it gets for the travelling fan. Warm weather, pristine beaches, palm trees swaying in the breeze and a local population with a love of a good time, a good time is guaranteed for all!Where possible our accommodation is located on the beach so you can roll out of bed and onto a sun lounger and relax before our match transfers to each day’s play!
Miami
With most Caribbean flight connections passing through Miami the city is the ideal base for a couple of nights to set the body clock from Australia. We have two-night options available 18-20 June before our St Lucia add-on, and 21-23 June ahead of the first Test. Our accommodation is on Miami Beach, a stone’s throw from some incredible restaurants and US sports bars.
St Lucia
St Lucia is a true jewel of the Caribbean. Our five-night Miami + St Lucia add-on (18-23 June) is available before the first Test. St Lucia’s west coast is renowned as one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean and Add-On includes a full day cruise to experience the splendour of the island’s famous Pitons volcanic peaks, Toraille Waterfall, sulphur springs and mud baths, Soufriere, Marigot Bay, and more!
Barbados
Barbados is the ultimate tourist destination and Kensington Oval is one of Test cricket’s great venues. Our local 3-4 star resort hotels are the ideal way to experience true beachfront Bajan spirit plus enjoy all the convenience of tourist-friendly restaurants and bars, magical beaches and nightlife right at our doorstep. This is how we do Barbados and it's why we keep coming back!
We are once again staying at the same popular hotels in Barbados that we enjoyed during last year's T20 World Cup, featuring spacious rooms, restaurants, bar, pool and direct beachfront access. Breakfast with a view is included daily!
Grenada
In Grenada you have the choice of 5-star all-inclusive or local 3-star resorts.
Our outstanding 5-star all-inclusive resort is located on its own beach and features bars, restaurants, swimming pools, a spa and range of sport and fitness facilities - it’s the ideal place to kick back at the end of each day’s play!
Our 3-star hotel option for Grenada offers great value at local-style resorts with beach access plus hotel features including bar and restaurant along with a pool.
Trinidad
Between the 2nd and 3rd Tests we enjoy two nights in Trinidad where we will take an included tour of Port of Spain and gorgeous Maracas Beach - the perfect place to enjoy a traditional Bake & Shark lunch and afternoon swim!
Jamaica
Jamaica’s famous Sabina Park is another iconic West Indian ground and the ideal venue for a possible series decider. Beyond the cricket field Jamaica is synonymous with Bob Marley, reggae and dancehall music.
