Elephant Backpackers Melbourne

Built in 1910, our hostel provides accommodation over 3 levels. Enjoy being in the heart of Melbourne, hearing the trams clink pass, the vibrancy of the city and local cafes, all outside your door. Our hostel has a variety of accommodation to suit every budget. Our older levels offer dorm accommodation plus single or double rooms with share toilets and showers. We have just completed a refurbishment of Level 3 which has 18 new rooms, 13 of which have ensuites and the other 5 rooms house dorm accommodation.
